These were all added by a contractor who was selling his own "flip" house..

That is a typical finding in some homes >50 years old. Good ole boy workmanship, but it works , for a while. icon_biggrin.gif Just think, they didnt used to pour footings for the pier and beam type homes.

The last picture is of the original support, the entire center of the house was like this. You can see where the pier barely caught the floor .
