Florida Inspectors, New (since 2020 FBC) requirements for roof sheathing

The saga continues, at least they used the correct roof sheathing. Pretty blue (wrong sized) nails.

Double whammy.

This could easily fit in the WTF thread.

More bad news…

Halloween right around the corner… no treat here. Well at least it’s plywood.

WTF

What would you expect for $3M+???

And the beat goes on…

So many still haven’t gotten the memo. SMH

Nice, these look like the correct roof sheathing nails, caliper check… yes correct diameter nails!
But hold on a minute…

The fun continues like Ground Hog Day.

At least they used 19/32" plywood with this tile roof…

So this would be a correct installation then right?

No Sir. The roof sheathing is thicker than 15/32" and fastened with 0.113" x 2 3/8" nails. The fasteners should be minimum 0.131" x 2 1/2" ring shank nails.
