Following in Cracker Barrel's footsteps, CCPIA® has changed its logo to this:

Along withe the logo rebranding, we also dropped our “Building Excellence” tagline as we felt the word “excellence” could offend commercial property inspectors who aren’t members of CCPIA®.

Yeah, like the old guy in the Cracker Barrel logo.

He’s been uncancelled.

Did they switch it back? I know their stock imploded when they announced the rebranding.

Yes, people almost died during this terrible incident.

What’s funny is I don’t recall all this “wokeness” when McDonalds” rebranded their logo a few years back.

I didn’t even notice a McDonald’s rebrand. What did they remove or change that was controversial?

I can’t post images or articles from my iPad, but the point was that there was no controversy. They rebranded their logo with no backlash. CB does it and…..backlash.

What is the difference, in your opinion?

Maybe all the complainers will actually start going to CB. Then they won’t feel the need to rebrand.

Everything woke turns to shlt.

McDonald’s updated their logo to appeal to a new generation. It worked. CB tried to do the same and it backfired. Just wondering where the “woke” crowd was when Mickey Dee’s did it. Nothing more, nothing less than that.

They didn’t really change anything. Yellow on white to yellow on red, which is also sorta like the old one. If they dropped one of Ronald in a two piece, shaking his ass, there would be a significant uproar.

But they changed it. No?

Not in any woke way. No.
