FPE fuse panel

1961 home. Federal Pacific Equipment panel. Aside from 1 taped splice (barely visible) I couldn’t believe how clean this thing was. The advantage of having our panels inside where they belong! icon_smile.gif Fuse panels seem to be very rare around here…this is only my second (the first was a total POS). I had to call for FE for grounding/bonding issues (and also recommended “upgrade”) but I was wondering if there were any issues with FPE fuse panels similar to the breaker ones. Also…if those of you more familiar with fuse panels see anything that should be reported, I’d appreciate comments.
