Furnace condensate drain terminates onto crawlspace floor.

If its above the trap in tail pipe it’s ok here.

Bob that damn inspection took me forever , so many things awry in that home.
I was surprised myself that the structure wasn’t like a sponge.
It’s bad down there, yeah I made about a dozen recommendations on items for the crawl.
No VB , vents were covered, no insulation, electric etc…

The furnace was relatively new so it hadn’t been like that for too long.
It’s muddy I’ll promise you that.

OMG now that funny!

Common sense should prevail; being above the trap in a crawl space is irralevant if the main drain has blockage thus it can back up to the A-coil if the furnace is a downflow and the drain connection is at floor level.

We all know drain lines never stop up especially main drains prolly why roto rooter is about to fold up. NOT;-)

I don’t make the rules, I just follow them. I personally think it is a good rule. Sewage will come up the tub before it makes it to the a coil.

Lol I thought you’d like it.

Depends on which is closer to the blockage because on a downflow they would be the same level. which comes first the chicken or the egg;-)
