Anyone can see it’s too close to the turbine vent.
I don’t do code.

Hmmm, actually if that is a roof vent… going out… Then it may very well be OK…
I say it is OK, but the gas vent should be taller.
Tallen ,you are correct, as it needs to be 24 inches higher than anything within 10 feet if it is B vent.
Source is Carson Dunlop and Inspect NY.
The wind turbulator appears to be recent install.
The “B” vent stack is too close to it.
Bad combination in any case.
Call it out as further assessment required.
Let the trades people figure it out.

The top of the chimney must be 2’ higher than anything within 10’ of it.
Potential back draft problem.
So far there are 3 votes that this is ok, yet not one explanation for why.
Lets hear it.

The turbine is not combustible.
The turbine discharges air from the attic space.
The unavailable furnace mfgs. installation instructions rule.
Now let’s hear why most think it is an improper install.
Gave it to you already and the 24 inch rule applies, with minor modifaction for roof slope.
Show us Manufacturer that says I am wrong Mike.
I try to approach these unusual situations from logic.

Why does a brick veneer wall need a one inch space rather than a 3/4 inch space? I do not know that either.

You and me both.
It will be there 20 years from now unless someone replaces the flue or removes the ineffective turbine vent but that’s another discussion.
Mike if it is close to the roof vent , the exhaust may backdraft into the living space.
But you already know this.Now who is giving the hard time.
