Gas line in attic

Morning fellow inspectors! Question about furnace gas line in the attic. I noticed there wasn’t a sediment trap. My concern was how the gas line was installed. If anyone can see, or not see, an issue here please let me know. Thanks

Most likely at the base of that vertical rise…

The sediment trap should be as close to the inlet of the appliance as practical and downstream of the shut off valve.
