What ekse would you expect to hear from someone pushing orjanic solutions?
If that’s the best you have I’ll keep using Roudup thankyou.
Did not burst my bubble I use Round up when needed.
I think his Close relative moved into the home two down from me .
When He moved in I went down and introduced my self and said if he needed any thing to please ask and that I was glad to see he had moved into our lovely area and how great every one is and all will help at any time .
He asked and what would I need .
I said I do not know at this time but a cup of sugar borrow my saw or use my weed sprayer, what ever the need I am here .
He said well I would like you to know I have just come from Toronto and we do not believe in spraying our lawns with pesticides .
I said well I am glad to see you have left Toronto I did 30 years ago and now you are in the country and just might wish to see how things are done differently down here .
With out herbisides and fungicide and various chemicals we could never grow Apples or feed the people of the world.
Well I guess we are differnet as his lawn has very little grass lots of Weeds and he has never borrowed me or any of my equipment or does not communicate with any neighbors that I know of .
His loss.
Roundup is a poison and environmental contaminant, and due to its overuse many plants now have resistance to it. Monsanto (the makers of roundup, as well as creators of agent orange) rely upon this fact to keep people buying it. Yes it’s a quick fix but it will not do the trick long term.
And what is your opion on what we should do with feeding our countries go organic will never work.
It may be an organic solution, but I suggest you do some further reading from other sources about Round Up including the label on the product as well as Monsantos own research.
Ignorance is bliss, I guess.
Go read the product guide at Monsanto and other Googled sites. I guess they are wrong too.
Not ignorant, ,not blissful. Just Ok with roundup and useful herbicides that increase production by killing weeds.
Michael
You will like this site.

I suppose you will be able to justify your ignorance like you do with global warming!
I surely hope the product you are so casual about does not find its way into your drinking water, air, vegetables.
Also please provide contrary views/links about the non concern with Round Up, please.
Heres to a weed free day!
You know what they say about opinions Raymond.
If I listened to every internet site trashing some product I would have to where a tinfoil suit and stay in my room.
Come on Michael, its not like you to be stuck for websites supporting your view on Global Warming. You can’t dismiss this product so easily.
Like I said ignorance is bliss, especially when there are alternative products.
What are the alternative products you are talking about .
Raymond,
Without modern agriculture including the use of herbicides an genetically modified seed stock the green revolution would not exist.
How then would we feed a hungry world and where would we find the corn to make ethonol with to “save the planet”?
Michael thats not the debate. The debate is a chemical that has been proven to be a pesticide amongst other issues, that has resulted in crops which are resistant to other treatments.
One read of the product label should be enough to disuade anyone from its use.
Next someone will be telling us its safe to use as a hair removal product.
Raymond,
What are the alternatives thay Roy asked you to provide?
Roy
John B suggested a friendly alternative, which is most likely cheaper to use than Round Up.
Salt is another one.
I am sure their are others.
Michael
Do a Google search for “evironmentally friendly herbicides.”
Raymond, the burden of proof is on you sir.
Michael
I fail to see how the burden of proof is on me. Thats illogical considering you asked for proof and I provided it.
Salt does not go away soap does not last .
How then would we feed a hungry world and where would we find the corn to make ethonol with to "save the planet .
Corn can feed people but is sure not .
the way to make ethonol the cost does not warrant the expense.
Watch the price of corn go up,up and away in the near future
That wasn’t proof it was a hit piece to promote their products.
Michael
Do a Google search. Your last post fails to address the evidence.
