We are working on the collaboration with 2 different Insurance Providers. I suspect there will be a tug of war soon.
I am hoping that in the end each Inspector will pay less than 2200/yr.
Ones that have the most education will be close too 1600/yr
Again this is speculation so keep this in mind that is what I feel it will come out at.
E & O Inspector insurance is a VERY SMALL market and interests very few insurers, unfortunately…Been there done that…

I have to agree with Gilles comment - “a very small market” especially in Canada. Although this is a worthy effort, there’s very limited interest in insuring home inspectors.
Even with the recent HUB presentation, most all insurance will increase other than where regulated. The inferred increase was in the 10% range.
Although I welcome $1600, I have not seen that for well over a decade.
That is where the tug of war comes in to drop the prices. I do however agree that 1600/yr is but a pipe dream for most.
