I’m pretty sure this is PVC but just want to check because I don’t recall having seen grey DMV before. There were areas through out the house where sections had been changed to the typical white PVC
. My concern is that it might be Polybutylene. What do you guys think? Unfourtunely the print on the pipe was all smudged, none was legible.

Look again it says PVC right on the pipe. (2nd picture)

Polybutylene wasn’t used for drain, waste and vent pipes.

In my opinion the DWV piping appears to be IPEX System 15® DWV.

Thank you. That’s what I thought, but have not seen this in 11 years. That’s what I get for googling.
