Home Inspection Books

The education on the Internachi site is the best I’ve seen and You Tube has home inspection videos that a person could watch for days but I am the kind of person that also enjoys a book.

I have purchased a few books from Amazon on home inspections one of which is the Taunton published home inspection guide.

My question is, would anyone care to recommend some home inspection books for us book readers?

Thanks

I also have a set of AHIT study books and DVDs before joining INACHI. Kind of pricey. 500-600?

must read imo this is given to all inquirers considering HI as a career & my next to oldest grandmonster that is considering this path

ASHI’s Advanced Home Inspections for the ASHI Certified Inspector is a excellent: http://www.nachi.org/coloring-book.htm

Now that’s funny.

Thanks, and I forgot about the Internachi area for buying products.

In bought 3 books used on Amazon and all seem good, I am building a libray and books you can easily carry and access in someones driveway if you need a reminder.

I built my first house with a framing book under the seat of my truck when I was in my 20’s, got me through the tough spots.

InterNACHI is actually ASHI’s sole supplier of their Advanced Inspection book.
