home inspector regulations

Marcel, why are you attacking me?

It appears, correct me if I am wrong, when InterNACHI home inspectors working in Quebec, or other provinces, ask questions about how working in Quebec affects them, or joining InterNACHI Quebec, a wonderful chapter by the way, and great founder, Gilles Larin, 2016 InterNACHI member of the year, you appear to reply.

You also asked me about my “4 planks” post/response, and I answered respectfully.
Please allow me the same courtesies when replying to my posts.

Best regards.
Robert Young

You of all people preaching about attacks; you are the worst offender when it comes to attacks! Weren’t you expelled from InterNACHI’s forum for that exact reason amongst others…

Robert Young gave wrong information which I corrected by providing a link. He replied trying to justify his incorrect information and then twisted my comment to Claude and continued by inferring to more false information about my being the spokesperson of InterNACHI-Quebec.

He deserved what he got for his ignorance and incorrect information he continuously provides on this forum and others for that matter.

Very interesting Marcel again is perfect and tries to show others it is they who are incorrect .

Unfortunately Marcel again shows his dislike for me and can not except he was wrong again for attacking

Marcel: You posted the correct information and we confirmed the equivalent style for RECO.

The fact he doesn’t like being wrong cannot be helped. As for the other gentleman, well…

A bientot Bonhomme!

Or, maybe he just stated a fact that you have a hard time swallowing, knowing it is a fact?

All the best,
Your friend Pat

Interesting Patrick Do you think Marcel should attack others who he feels made an error in their post .
Being polite is normal and Marcel was sure not polite .

Marcel if Robert is incorrect I do not think he deserves to be attacked .

Why just not correct what you think is wrong .
These attacks just tend to destroy The NACHI forum and we could end up with Many inspectors no longer trying to help others .

Marcel is entitled his opinion, as we all are.

Maybe you don’t seem to like the fact he exposed you as a hypocrite…

Have a nice day.

.

Yes he is but attacking is far from Proper

Your Information you posted has nothing to do with Marcel’s attack .
You made a statement that shows you to lack the ability to act properly ,Calling me a Hypocrite is sure bad taste and not needed and adds nothing to this discussion .
Very poor way for a Director of OntarioACHI to act .

Roy, You are a troll, pure and simple. You make up things just to throw cr4p at others.

You ARE a hypocrite: Definition “a person who feigns some desirable or publicly approved attitude, especially one whose private life, opinions, or statements belie his or her public statements.”

You make out you are all sweetness and light, but in fact YOU start the attacks, and then run-away when someone defends themselves.

You suggest others are acting out of impropriety, but in fact you are the worst offender when it comes to unprofessional behaviour.

Whenever you mention OntarioACHI on this message board it only helps boost the hits on the site. so thank you for the advertising.

When people do get to the OntarioACHI they find that the information there is provided for all without having to deal with the B.S. you and your tag-team spew around on this site.

The InterNACHI message board is littered with abuse, attacks and other denigrating posts by you and your cohorts. Anything you say about anyone on this website is seen exactly for what it is, trolling to try to make you look more important and “speshul” than what you really are.

It’s time you realised that while you and your tag-team think you are being smart or funny, you are actually driving people away.

Now you have also published you don’t have a Facebook page, I suspect you will be finding even more InterNACHI inspectors will migrate there, again to get away from your B.S.

I’m a Director of OntarioACHI, I’m also a fully paid up member of InterNACHI.

I have as much right to defend myself, my colleagues and BOTH the associations I belong to as anyone else.

You playing hit-and-run with your Bully tactics, or tag-teaming with Robert “Honest, that’s not what I said” Young will not deter me or anyone else from doing so.

No doubt you will also come out with some pithy comment about “oh, dear, how sad, too bad” or “Sad to see…” but really, if that’s all you’ve got, “you got nothin’”

Time you grew-up and started acting your age, rather than show your I.Q. as being no more than your shoe size.

Besides all of that, Mr. Cooke, after your collaboration in the personal attack of another InterNACHI member in the week of June 5th you have no credibility, I repeat NO CREDIBILITY,here or anywhere else when talking about professional, ethical or moral matters.

The attempt to put another Inspector out of business by attacking him directly through his Franchiser was a despicably low act, even for you, and no apology, no deflection, and no defense can ever absolve you of this.

You are a poor example of a human being, and a worse example of a professional. You disgust me.

Your insults just show how a home inspector should not operate .

Maybe you should re-read the stuff above that…

Then, rather than hurling insults, you’d be clear about the previous posts from Marcel and myself and others…

Have a nice evening
Your friend, Pat

Mr. Cooke, a truth is not an insult, and after your collaboration in the personal attack of another InterNACHI member in the week of June 5th you have no credibility, I repeat NO CREDIBILITY,here or anywhere else when talking about professional, ethical or moral matters.

The attempt to put another Inspector out of business by attacking him directly through his Franchiser was a despicably low act, even for you, and no apology, no deflection, and no defense can ever absolve you of this.

You are a poor example of a human being, and a worse example of a professional. You are in NO position to pass judgement on anyone else.

Amazing how Marcel Gratton, starts arguments by avoiding questions.
Not unusual for Marcel to insult me and others.

Marcel, you were well known to be aggressive member but you appease has slowly diminished on the MB.

So Marcel, have you ever represented InterNACHI in any capacity in Quebec?

I know the answer.
So asking if you are doing so again was logical.
Marcel Gratton, you are one piece of work.

Not wrong again Marcel. You are.

1: Marcel, I know what I said.
2: No need to excuse myself. I think it is you that should excuse oneself for being rude.
3: I am not going away.

Marcel, if you don’t know the answer, nor how to answer, it would be better to say I do not know instead of insinuating and insulting the other party.

To further the discussion; Inspection Committee.

Under the Act, the OACIQ is required to create an Inspection Committee. It is made up of executive officers of real estate or mortgage agencies and of brokers acting on their own account. However, these brokers do not personally conduct inspections, but rather use the services of inspectors.

Following a protocol, the Inspection Committee meets and inspectors present their inspection reports regarding brokers and agency executive officers who require various interventions. The committee may also recommend to inspected brokers and agency executive officers any appropriate recommendation and have them sign an undertaking to comply with a section of the Act or one of its regulations. In addition, it may require an agency executive officer or a broker to successfully attend a course or other education activity. If the committee finds that a violation to the Act or a regulation has been committed, it notifies the syndic immediately.

1: I concur.
2: I was falsely targeted with Collaboration. That was not truthful.
3: If the truth is not an insult, what’s the issue?

Great you frequently make accusations that are incorrect You should be ashamed to say these things .It is false and you sir are a liar .
This industry would be better of with out you Len and Patrick Auriol continuing to post false information .
You Len are the one Who realised confidential I gave to you and I said Please do not let this be posted .
You also tried to embarrass me when I that Confidential offer to you .
You again show all just how unreliable a person you are and you frequently told lies on this Board .
Strange how Len Linkster and Patrick Auriol have for years been attacking various Canadian Inspectors . I am still waiting for the two Lawyers letters you posted I would be getting , I think this was just more of you lies .
. Why not Grow up and stop this len You support OntarioACHI .
I support NACHI and it members .
Many others appreciate my info Here are a couple of many below .

Roy

I have stayed out of these ramblings by you because you are a piece of S H I T who is not worth responding to.

Posting about my family proved that you are a low life scum.

You say the industry would be better off without Len and Pat when it is you that is a disgrace to the industry.

Here are some facts for you.

Ontario Inspectors do not post here. Why ? because of YOU and your 3 idiot friends.

InterNachi is not recognized by the Ontario Government. Why? Because of YOU and your 3 idiot friends.

InterNachi will NOT be recognized by the Ontario Government. Why? Because of you and your 3 idiot friends.

Trying to ruin another inspectors business by contacting his Franchisor showed once again what a POS you are.

Now run and complain to your 3 idiot friends like you always do.

If the truth is not an insult, what’s the issue?

Please refrain from posting false information. You are doing InterNACHI disservice.
Back to the topic. Home inspector regulations.
While some agree others may not.

From AHIT: “Currently, approximately 35 states require some form of home inspector regulation.
“Unfortunately, consumers have the expectation that because a license is necessary, then all inspectors are the same,” Lesh said. “Nothing could be further from the truth. The analogy I like to use is most barbers and hair dressers are licensed, but consumers can still get a bad haircut.”

Please be respectful on the InterNACHI open message board… This debate is about your business.
