Can someone assist me in locating a vendor who sells booklets on “Seasonal Home Maintenance for Homeowners” that I can distribute to my clients.

I would like to add this booklet into my clients’ report folder.

I provide a 95 page book called “How to Operate your Home” by Tom Feiza Mr. Fix-it. I get them from Porter Valley Software for $4.00 each.

Here is a link to a site with just what you are looking for:

http://www.cmhc.ca/en/burema/gesein/abhose/abhose_067.cfm

Their printable version is 4 pages and they invite you to distribute it.

With some modification to avoid plagiarism you could easily remove the heavy Canadian content.

AHIT - American Home Inspectors Training Institute, offers Home Maintenance manuals to pass out to customers.

They charge $5.00 each and are 80 pages.

Not sure if you have to be a graduate. I took their course two months ago.

their number is 1-800-441-9411

Good Luck

The Porter Valley site says that the books are only available to PV software clients. Is this correct?

Feiza’s book is nice, (clients like it), and available in two versions. Both are titled “How to Operate Your Home.” One slips easily into a 1" binder (his 96 page “booklet”), and the other is a 224-page full book.

For the booklets, if you order direct from Feiza (aka Mr. Fixit), in case quantities of 80, the price is $3.00 per booklet, plus any appropriate sales tax and a nominal shipping charge.

The larger book comes in cases of 28 books, and I think the per-book price (by case) is $9.00; less if you order multiple cases (i.e. four or more).

Contact:

…not sure if NACHI has a discount with Mr. Fix-it. You might want to check with him.
