Hose bib malfunction?

Just curious what might cause this? Gauge is working properly.

Looks like the anti-siphon valve on top is stuck open.

Like Randy said the anti-siphon valve is either broken, missing or stuck open. They dry out after time and the rubber washer disintegrates.

Well it does leak. I’d say that was a defect!

I just call it out as “Exterior hose faucet leaks under pressure.” Defect
I do see it often.
