We’ll have to see how things work out with this COVID thing. I operate under strict protocols that limit the number of persons onsite at any given inspection. I am currently running solo on all residential and small to medium commercial properties. I’ll keep you in mind for the future.

I agree with you Mark IR is a great tool for this and I have checked/ compared it many times, like you with a bulb / probe type thermometer and have always been within a degree or two. I will clarify I use my thermal imaging camera for this not just an IR thermometer. Also use it for taking temps at All registers (have also compared it at registers many times with a probe thermometer also found both are accurate within a degree or two). IR is faster and much easier to get a remote reading from all registers.
