NHIE is a joke of an exam, IMHO. They didn’t even spend the effort to spellcheck it. I can just imagine all the technical errors.
To be fair Nick you have the same issues. It’s been discussed on a number of threads.
We aren’t determining if a person gets a license or not. They need to shut the NHIE down until it is perfect if they are going to determine the fate of other people’s livelihood and careers. If they can’t even spell the component, they shouldn’t be ruining lives with their goofy memory test. They say that when you point your finger, 3 are pointing back at you. That’s absolutely true in this case. In this InterNACHI study guide, the word “bibb” appears 6 times, 3 times spelled bibb and 3 times spelled bib.

It appears as “hose bib”, one b, all six times in this RESIDENTIAL PLUMBING OVERVIEW, written by both of you.
I can only imagine the amount of thought that went into this thread!
Either is correct as English is a made-up language. Examples be like Color or Colour, Mold or Mould…Magazine or Clip…
