Prior to Hurricane Charlie I had a waterfront home in Port Charlotte, now I have a waterfront lot in Port Charlotte. My house was in better shape than this before the Ins Co totaled it!
Always, never leave without getting paid.
I’m all for getting paid and would bill the client $150 for travel if he didn’t inform me of the condition of that home. I would not endanger myself. I wouldn’t inspect a house in a “high crime” area, a drug lab, crack house, or the house pictured in that photo. Another statement in my PIA:
“The inspection of areas/homes that we feel endangers OUR safety will be aborted.”
Smart move, good work, no sense in risking injury to you or your client.
