What I remember of her during the 2020 campaign I was not a fan but I thought her first speech last week in Wisconsin was really good. Kind of reminded me a bit of Obama and the nice delivery. If she keeps that up Trump could be in trouble.
IIRC, where she suffers is having to think on her feet like in a debate so it will be interesting. I think it would be awesome for the US to have a minority female president… just not sure yet if it’s her but I’m keeping an open mind.
Compare her 2020 campaign/debate/appearance and what she said she believes in to what she recently (this week) claims. She has no integrity and only blows with the wind. Or she just blows!
That was in 2020, not 2016. He was president and so it was simply wise politics to not give the primary debates any press by participating. I think he would have won again, like he did in 2016 but there is no sense in it as every debate comes with some risk (the opponent will hit a home run, or you will slip up/screw up in some way). Purely a chess move not to participate. He was so far ahead in the poles at that point.
Why? You must already know from her 4 years of failed VP she is a socialist. Green New Deal and Medicare for all. She has a track record of failure, so lets make her President? No way!
Why? Does a persons’ sex or race qualify them for this job? That is a sexist and racist philosophy.
She hasn’t been Democratically nominated by the proper convention. Only annointed by the party controllers.
Yet, the sexist comments and memes here and in other threads implying that Kamala(comma-la) sucked and fucked her way to the top and that she was DEI doesn’t seem to bother yoU? You want to read something sexist, read Project 2025 that seeks to put women back in the kitchen barefoot and pregnant in submission to their husbands. A woman president will inspire countless number of girls and young women to dream big.
One can understand Trump’s apprehension with the debate. His strategy against Biden was sound, exploit Biden’s lack of mental acuity. That debate, like the last one, would be someone with half a brain debating someone with no brain. Now the tables are turned. Trump isn’t as sharp as he used to be and Harris is very smart. This debate will be someone with a whole brain debating someone with half a brain. He should be concerned because she’ll be well prepared and in the end likely make him look bad.
As Nick said keep an open mind. If Trump doesn’t want to debate her at all that would be disgraceful.
The Constitution lists only three qualifications for the Presidency — the President must be at least 35 years of age, be a natural born citizen, and must have lived in the United States for at least 14 years.
Aside from having experience being the DA of a major US metropolitan city, a senator, and the current vice president…[/quote]
Would you like to share her history in those positions?…you know, the choices that she has made and the things she stood for as a prosecutor, senator and the VP.
Policy. That’s what is always avoided in these threads.
Harris is further left than Bernie Sanders (a died in the wool socialist). Harris is for open borders, the green new deal, and medicare for all. Three policies that will bankrupt America, destroy the economy and makes us subservient and dependant on countries whose ideals are diametrically opposed to ours. She doesn’t understand foreign policy and has already insulted some allies. She doesn’t understand financial policy and will continue the current reckless monetary behaviors. She doesn’t understand energy or environmental policy which will continue to drive manufacturing jobs overseas. What’s to like?
On top of which Harris can’t think on her feet. All this talk of “let’s wait and see” the debate (a heavily scripted media event) won’t change that. We’ve already heard her many impromptu word salad interviews. Extemporaneous speaking is a good indicator of intelligence. She ain’t got it. Meeting foreign leaders won’t be scripted or rehearsed. Don’t need another 4 years of a fool for president.
Has Trump endorsed Project 25? Nope. Project 25 is a product of a conservative think tank and is about 800 pages long. I have not read it yet, have you?
