Individual conductors through panel

Individual conductors fed up from bottom of panel through separate holes…no go, correct?

Correct, no good. I can only imagine what it looks like below that panel within the wall.

300.3(B) Conductors of the Same Circuit.
All conductors of the same circuit and, where used, the grounded conductor and all equipment grounding conductors and bonding conductors shall be contained within the same raceway, auxiliary gutter, cable tray, cablebus assembly, trench, cable, or cord, unless otherwise permitted in accordance with 300.3(B)(1) through (B)(4).

With a home made bushing to boot! :-1:

Was that panel updated in some distant past? Sure looks like a lot of very short wires. Not much there for the wire nuts…Not that that is an automatic defect.

That wall needs to be opened to see what they did behind the drywall.

Individual conductors need to be in a raceway like a conduit.

Yeah, Rob hit on that, too.:
