Inspecting antique barns in New Hampshire

Can’t tell the forest from the trees…this the support structure under a distressed barn we saw yesterday. One of these columns fell over when it was slightly contacted; one other was already down and 2 more were leaning. I didn’t dare go the last 10 feet into the back because the hair on my neck was starting to get all prickly. This one will take a lot to make usable for animals again…potential buyer wants to have horses.

That’s a shame Mark, hate to see these old barns fall apart.

Here’s an old beauty from today. 3 story built in 1820.

Pretty good shape but will need some work.
