The Ohio Division of Real Estate and Professional Licensing requires that home inspectors complete at least 80 hours of classroom or online instruction provided by an accredited postsecondary institution that includes topics of this law, safety, and report writing (Sec. 4764.05 ©). This can be completed by taking InterNACHI’s free, online Ohio Pre-Licensing for Home Inspectors Course. InterNACHI® School is an accredited post secondary education institution accredited by the national accrediting agency of the U.S. Department of Education.
InterNACHI® offers a 100-Hour Inspector Pre-Licensing Course which is free and online for members. InterNACHI is currently seeking approval for this pre-licensing course.
