All you have to do is buy some of Ben’s “Now that you have had a home inspection…” book; chart is in the back; Ben, you may want to update it.

My company is formed as an Illinois state LLC, but we file, federally, as an S corp.

Very simple, as far as taxes are concerned. And, most years, the company has a paper loss so I get an extra tax break on my personal taxes.

This varies from state to state. ALWAYS talk to your CPA and lawyer.
