In general, the information on the main pages of NACHI.org are written with a professional tone as they speak for the association as a whole.

This area (that you are reading now) of the message board gets a little loose as there is no moderator. Being visible to all keeps this section somewhat restrained though (even Iggy's pics).

The invisible members-only section however, can be really rough. Some dirty laundry and fully expressed emotions. Anything goes... and often goes right into the gutter.

I agree Nick, we need to keep this section as clean as possible and use the members only section for our ranting and raving.

I still maintain a part time job, always have during my career. I work as a flight paramedic on Life Flight. The paramedic job has always been a passion of mine but the money is terrible along with the hours. It is my outlet from the hum drum normal life. It helps me to put things in perspective when the stress bugs set in. I have worked my way up the paramedic ladder over the years and still enjoy it. Anyone suprised? Well, the cat is out of the bag now or I have come out of the p/t closet!! By the way, Joe H is correct…nomex.

Hi Jeff, if you’re going to have a part-time job I can’t think of a more worthy one. I would not be here today to torture Joe M if it were not for a flight med crew back in England 15 years ago, they managed to get me to ER while still alive (just !). There is no doubt in my mind that if it were not for people with your level of skills and comitment I would not be here.

Keep up the good (p/t) work

Best wishes

Gerry
