Probably, but the only way to be sure is to test it in a lab.

Prolly should’nt lick that when You run across it much of it that vintage contains asbestos…

I tested a chimney pipe with material similar to this out of curiosity and it turned out to be mostly mica…you never really know until you have it tested…
