The first photo, did you use a wide angle lens or is that bulge that large. Looks like you used a fish eyed wide angle.

Bet the disclosure statement said something about a small stress crack.

No wide angle lens. I was about 8’ away when I took the shot. I did not see, nor hear of a disclosure statement that went with this property.

Structural engineer?


Was it just a brick veneer?

Was there foundation problems too?

Did the signs show up on the inside wall finishings? Floors?

If any of the above were answered No, I would have recommended a qualified mason evaluate and repair or replace as necessary.

However, I do agree that those are not normal everyday cracks and that it certainly appears that there is a structural deficiency somewhere.

But without knowing all of the details, it is impossible to come up with a definitive remark IMHO.

Is this wall bowing , seeing that the cracks are along the line of the morter


line mortering the crack should take care of this. are there any other signs of


strctural deficiencies. how old is this house?
