Not as far as I am concerned .
It is not a case of will it leak but when will it leak.
Recommend immediate repair by qualified person.

I see those connectors a lot too on modified plumbing in crawlspaces. I assume they are PB although I could not find any ID on the part.


Probably a lot of those in stock still in many areas.

Bruce, that sure looks like the valve in your link. I have seen resilent sealed metal valves which look identical. The reason I said this was the fact they would have to be compression fittings connecting to the copper.
