Branch circuit NM cable is not clamped. Does not appear to be an insulated bushing at either entrance. Looks like conduit nipple with locknut. It this ok? Never seen it like this.

Rigid nipples require bushings. What’s on the other side?
Garage on other side. Cables enter wall and go up into attic space.

However, it is what it is…clearly (and I see it alot) the local AHJ simply accepts the practice. Again is why I have spent nearly 30+ years trying to teach municipal inspectors and I still travel around and teach them to this day…on-going mission.
