Most of the flues were terminating before this attic fan.

This is the view of the roof from the exterior (notice the black around the vent cover).

Heath, that is wrong in more ways than can be described. To start with that is a power ventilator, IF the ventilator goes out, how is it going to feed. IRC and others require that the exhaust vent TERMINATE outside the dwelling, not inside and be pushed out by vent fan.

Absolutely not this violates NFPA 54 National Fuel Gas Code

Note when you post photos type after the url that is how I got your photo to display in my reply.

What are the flues being used for?

Are these bath exhaust vents?

No need to post the pics and spread this out to all hell.

I must have missed the part about these being gas flues. ![icon_rolleyes.gif](upload://iqxt7ABYC2TEBomNkCmZARIrQr6.gif)

Gary,

Thanks for jumping in with a good answer and a quotable source.

Please reconsider putting the photo directly into the post. On most peoples screens, the photo is wider than the visible area. When it is, it takes the text with it. That means everybody reading the post has to scroll from left to right to read "each" message while maintaining continuity.

Thank you,

I agree with Erby. The side to side scrolling is a pain and makes replies very hard to read. Not only that, but not everyone has a high speed connection (I do) and waiting for pictures to load can be rather boring.

Just my two cents.
