I need a borescope inspector in Connecticut who has premium equipment and advanced training. Residential gymnasium, 3000 sq ft footprint. Pitched ceiling, its layers include hardwood, vapor barrier, sheet rock, insulation - and plywood and roof shingles. Some previous water damage. Need borescope inspector to determine where current moisture and/or mold may exist. Can you recommend a borescope inspector in Connecticut?

I’m not sure of your specifics or how a “borescope inspector” would help you (typically used for plumbing drain issues). Sounds like you need a mold assessor/remediation.

Caren, nobody can provide an accurate picture of what’s hidden in the roof structure you described. Where water stains show up on the ceiling could have originated several feet away from the roof leak. Stains on the ceiling is typically a roofing/flashing issue so a thorough inspection of the visible roof is needed.
