I recieved a mailing from ITA that states that their new CE courses have been approved by “national associations” (8 ce credits). Is this true for NACHI? Has anyone taken these courses? Opinions/info welcome.

Yes… I took the Fast trac course from ITA for certification in IL. The hours accumulated from the class was accepted by NACHI.

Thanks for your reply. The course you took involved atteneding classes didn’t it? This course is a correspondence (home study) course.

yes it was a week long course. To get licensed in Illinois you need a 60 hour course. Plus it counts as CE credits for your NACHI Membership.

I was wondering the same thing and have sent a link to this question to Gerry, hopefully he can get the answer for us. This is for the CORRESPONDENCE course, not the classroom sessions.
