Hey Joe, what do you know!! I do the same in regards to attic access areas, here is one someone fell thru recently.
Did not see the need for both a pulldown and 2nd floor door.
This had just happened as my client stated there was no hole when the just recently looked at the home, glad I did not fall through!!
