Dick Nixon killed it while the GOP was still in the womb meaning the Trump Party is stillborn, it has never won a popular vote and it never will… it is a dead baby and we all know dead babies can take care of themselves.
Interesting Larry, personally I’m a firm believer in one person one vote, and I also believe the use of the electoral college way of choosing a POTUS needs to go.
Here’s a good article that explains the history of the electoral college and why it’s time has come and gone. It is a semi-long read, but a good one, and it has nothing to do with mob rule.
Then throw your vote away in Ohio, for you will never be heard from again. The populist cities will overwhelm any thought of change you may have ever had. The power in the centers of sin and corruption (the cities) will silence us all, especially if we are in a poor state or marginalized economically. That is mob rule.
Found that 15 percent of American counties generate 64 percent of America’s gross domestic product. Most of the country’s economic activity is on the East Coast, West Coast, and a few metropolitan areas in between. The prosperous parts of America include about 15 states having 30 senators while the less prosperous areas encapsulate 35 states having 70 senators. Those numbers demonstrate the fundamental mismatch between economic vitality and political power. Through the Electoral College (and the U.S. Senate), the 35 states with smaller economic activity have disproportionate power to choose presidents and dictate public policy.
The section I bolded above sounds like more power to the money, everyone else sit down! That is also mob rule.
But, by Saturday, he was telling a rally in Wisconsin that he was “very offended” by Putin’s endorsement of Harris.
He said: “I knew Putin. I knew him well. And you know, he endorsed, I don’t know if you saw the other day, he endorsed Kamala. He endorsed Kamala. I was very offended by that.”
