Musk & Trump - With friends like this

Even though they both gained something by teaming up, IMO they’re both too egotistical for a lasting relationship to thrive.

Remember the constant flow of White House and Army staff that went out the door willingly or got the boot out the door during his first term?
It started with Mick Mulvaney and ended with Alexander Acosta. That is 39 in total.

Its going to be the same.

Keep an eye on Sam Altman, he is a dirty dawg. His original AI was non-profit which he quickly churned into a money printing machine. All under the guise of “for the good of humanity”. BS!

The DEI jokes will be leaving without pay soon- but I think we’ll see much more stability- now that he’s been in the political swamp before. He’s walking with much more wisdom now, about how to navigate who to trust and who’s swampy- He’s outside the Washington career political compromised and a billionaire that appeals to the lower class citizens- overwhelmingly.

This was inevitable, but I don’t think anyone saw it coming this soon.

The celebrations have continued now that Donald Trump is back in the White House, as he has signed a flurry of executive orders to make good on his campaign promises. But this might be the best mood that MAGA world will be in for a while. The president’s coalition is split between two distinct but overlapping factions that are destined for infighting. On one side are the far-right nationalists and reactionaries who have stood by Trump since he descended down his golden escalator. Among them are Stephen Miller, who is seen as a chief architect of Trump’s anti-immigration agenda, and Steve Bannon, Trump’s former chief strategist and the former executive chair of Breitbart News . On the other side is the tech right: Elon Musk and other Silicon Valley elites, including Peter Thiel and Marc Andreessen, who have become ardent supporters of the president. Already, these groups are butting heads on key aspects of Trump’s immigration crackdown. In Trump’s second term, not everyone can win.

Yes we did. We know exactly who these people are and their purpose, especially Trump. The Atlantic is just trying to be relevant.

According to journalists from sources like the Washington Post, CNN, Huffington Post, and ABC, the band’s gestures during the performance could be ominous indications of latent fascist support for Trump.

“It’s not just one Hitler salute, either,” warned CNN’s Jake Tapper. “We’re seeing these people literally double Trump’s Nazism with two whole Hitler salutes. This could be the most dangerous threat to democracy we have ever seen in human history, besides Trump.”

This could get interesting.

Or it could just be talk.

Steve Bannon says Elon Musk’s credibility on the line with DOGE - Washington Times

Mr. Bannon said White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles must keep Mr. Musk in his lane. He said the episode shows Mr. Musk’s influence limits and dispels the “co-presidency” storyline.

“Somehow, he’s lost the plot on his remit, which is, you know, to deconstruct the administrative state and come up with what he’s committed to the President — a $1 trillion cut in this budget,” Mr. Bannon said. “He’s bringing a local Silicon Valley, a feud, into the West Wing and really into the Roosevelt Room and it’s not acceptable.”

I bought some Tesla stock at 190 and it’s now up over 400 so I’m, of course, very happy. My biggest fear is the Trump/Musk relationship going sour. Trump doesn’t have too many friendly breakups and tends to hold grudges.

Photoshop of

On Operation Mockingbirds mouthpiece

The only reason Time is still in busines is because they are part of the Op Mockingbird media machine.
Thank goodness Trump appointed Elon to identify the fraud and begin the swamp draining.

People everywhere are sick and tired of the MKUltra pysop from Op Mockingbird, hopefully everyone figures it out soon.

Meanwhile…

And Dems call MAGA a “cult” LMAO :joy: YCMTSU

Of course it’s photoshopped, Dave. I doubt Trump would ever knowingly allow musk to sit behind The Resolute Desk for a picture on the cover of Time Magazine.

Could you translate that into english? :grinning:

Is it Democrat drivel, except when Trump is on the cover?

Wow, didn’t see this coming. LOL

The president’s dismissive snipe at Time comes just weeks after he boasted about being named the magazine’s 2024 Person of the Year, an honor[ he’s long coveted](https://www.nytimes.com/2024/12/12/us/politics/trump-time-person-year.html) and first received after winning the presidential election in 2016.

If our own President (or his administration) can’t tell if something is “photoshopped”…all of us are in BIG trouble… :flushed:

Then I’d say we’re in BIG trouble, Tom.
