I have no experience with inspecting manufactured homes, what are the pro’s and cons??? How different are they? I have not studied their construction nor been inside very many…

Anything different when it comes to inspection....? let me know

Thanks,

I think you need a different license for mobile homes. Not sure about modular homes, I think if they have a foundation and no beams/axles you can do those just like a house.

In my experience what I consider to be a manufactured home is one built in a factory then transported to the site on trucks either in 2 pieces or modular and put together. In either case I have found them to be much better constructed. This usually due to the controlled environment that they are built in. The builder usually has much better Quality control than the “nock it together in 3 weeks” crowd that we seem to get up here.
