I have only done about 15 home isnepctions so far and wondered if manufactured homes are alot differnt to inspect someone just called me today and wanted me to do their manufactured home inspection. Is there alot of differnet things i should know about and do you think i will be able to do the inspection thank you for you help i appreciate it

As the article says, about a third of them have trouble with the windows, doors, and plumbing. Another thing to watch for is the floors, it only takes a small water leak and they will start to get soft.

I also see a fair number of improperly installed decks/porches--the factory made stairs are installed sideways and the landing is not large enough.

HUD manufacturing regulations came into effect in 1976.
