I went to GHC’s web site and most of their language on what they build says modular. This could be why you are being asked to change it.

Newbie here going over old posts.
The data plate specifically mentions conforming to Michigan Residential code; thus, this would be considered a modular home.
While modular homes are “manufactured” in the general sense in a factory, in real estate parlance the term “manufactured home” refers to homes built to HUD code after July 1, 1976. Homes built to state or local code are considered “modular”.
