Maybe this is why the Crawlspace is wet!

I recommended...
opening the blocked vents (did it while I was in there),
fixing the dryer vent to the exterior,
remove all the wet insulation,
mechanically ventilate the crawlspace with fans from the garage and install a proper vapor retarder,
reinstall dry installation...

Moisture was mostly condensate from the HVAC ducts. All the damaged batts were within 3 or 4 feet of the ducts...

Whew! One more reason why I hate crawlspaces!

the white tube looks like a dryer vent and should be run outside threw the “blocked vent” which may once have been a celar window. (had 2 or 3) usualy the grade creeps up to the window and pop… replace with whatever you have. simple $10 fix. new vent hose and penetrating vent with cap.
