Is there a way to set topics on the message board to be viewed from the latest post first without going to the option at the bottom of each topic every time.
I think it would be handy to have this option on the main forum/index page if possible for people who follow some of the topics.

Hi Robert you have 2 options to do that, either click on posts since last visit on the task bar above the mesage board, or click on the page icon to the right of the last post name in the right hand column, does that make sense ??

Within each topic the individual posts/messages by people are set up by default to be viewed from the oldest first in time/date order.
If you go to the bottom of a topic, there is an option setting after the last post in the middle which reads "Display Posts From Previous" where you can set it on "Newest First" and you can read the latest post at the top. But when you switch to another topic it goes back to the default of "Oldest First"
It would be handy to set the default for all the posts you view on "Oldest First" but I dont see that option on the main index.

Robert, like Gerry suggested, it is easiest to use the view posts since last visits and you don’t have to go into each of the forums. They list chronologically there. It cuts out a lot of the time of going back and forth between pages.

Robert,
Right now there's no easy way to do this. Perhaps sometime in the distant future I can make that change, but not right now. What you can do, is view the topic starting at the first post you have not read.
