Moisture Issues

You should have been with me @ 6:00 am this morning after driving 85 miles for a first of a kind for me, a round tornado shelter for a school very interesting construction Cinder block walls with a dome roof. The roof is shaped by blowing up a canvas top like a balloon then installing the re-bar. The positive pressure is maintained by very large fans (blower doors). I was hired to do the IR on the cinder blocks and this is the absolute worst time of the year to get Delta T:shock: and with low end cameras it is impossible

LOL I did hold much hope for the AC guy , Now the have taken all the dry wall and insulation down , dehumidifier is taken about 3 gallons every 8 hrs so the owner stated .

Well got sort of a update
Took all the dry wall and insulation out , sprayed the brick for 30 minutes found water leaching into the brick by a window 2 feet away, it runs across got trap on sill .
It seems that there was enough getting in to soak and wick . Then the heated wall outside and cold air inside caused the condensation . Builder is getting in touch with the brick company and stripping the brick down in that area to see what going on with the barrier . This builder is going the full mile so it is fixed it appears .

Sounds more like a window flashing issues than WRB.

Not near the window but 2 feet from the window . they found it hosing the wall down . every thing was in view

So was Charlie correct.?

Only in view from the interior, right? Couldn’t they only see water seeping through the OSB? And couldn’t see the WRB, or exactly where water was entering at exterior.

Sometimes the drip edge is installed wrong and actually pitches in towards the structure. here is an example
