The following is an email I just received.
Aimee,
My name is Eugene Staebell and I am with the U. S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), which is a Federal government agency whose mission is to reduce the risk of injury and death associated with consumer products. I was referred to you by Jerry Domagala of the Northwest Washington chapter of the National Association of Certified Home Inspectors.
Mr. Domagala suggested that I send you a copy of the recently revised guidelines on entrapment hazards concerning pools and spas. The guideline is attached to this email. Mr. Domagala indicated that you might be able to distribute the guidelines to NACHI members all over the country.

I have also included within this email a link to the publication page (http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/pubs/chdrown.htmlon ) regarding pool and spa safety. The documents, including the revised guideline, can be downloaded or printed, there is no copyright on the material. This web page is part of the main CPSC web site (www.cpsc.gov) which has information on product safety and product recalls.
If you have any questions please call me at the below listed phone number. Your cooperation and assistance in distributing this revised guideline is very much appreciated.
