Dan,
Good question. So far I do know that Joe Tedesco will be there with his electrical hat on. I haven't heard of anyone else. Anybody got any up to date information on this? I think I heard Robert O'Conner's name in the mix somewhere or another. I'm not sure.

Hi to all,
the educational content of the convetion is at this time about 30% completed, but I will not be going into specifics at this time as contracts have to be signed with guest speakers and trainers.
However we have allready planned that attending members will be able if they wish to pick from 21 courses and seminars each running for 2 1/2 to 3 hours each coursewill be run once on each day and members and visitors will be able to avail themselfs of upto 18 hours education credits over the 2 days.

Remember to tell your speakers and instructors that they need to schedule a 10-minute break after each hour. Speakers and instructors can control how the break is taken (can leave the room; can stand up and stretch; every third person, starting at the left, move three seats to the right--that will require ten minutes since many people can't count and have absolutely no earthly idea what to do when they are the last seat at the right--then we'll also know who the yo-yos are amongst us----but it is a great way to meet new people.)
I've been Convention Coordinator for about 20 conventions for various charities and non-profits over the years, ranging in size from 30 people to 5,000 people (never be Convention Cordinator for a convention expecting 5,000 attendees--life is better than that--or should be). Numero uno complaint/feedback/suggestion each time, 1973 through 1999, was that sitting in a classroom in chairs that are, by design, uncomfortable, with the heating or air conditioning burning you up or freezing you to death for longer than an hour is unacceptable.

Right on Russell. Every fire class I do, I break every hour. Hell, it is just as good for me as a teacher. I lose a few minds after talking about ropes for an hour. The break gets em back.
