I just got off the phone with a Dell rep. and the promotion that NACHI is representing is not available to NACHI members. They have informed me that this “discount” of an additional 10% on top of all other promotions is three months old and no longer honored.
They do NOT recognize any special discounts for our association what so ever. We get just what every Tom, Dick and Harry gets when purchasing any of their products. If this is no longer true then why is it still promoted on our website as a partnership with them?
Does anyone know the facts about this? They did offer free shipping but they do that for everything...wow what a deal!
Dell also accused NACHI of false advertising of these benefits to their members.

Ken, as I said in another post, I will contact them tomorrow morning. I get a constant update on the status of our discount, and I assure you it is not false advertising. As a matter of fact, do you know the name of the rep that told you it was? If you go specifically to www.nachi.org/dell it has a direct # to use, are they telling you at that # that it is not valid?

Ken, I just checked my back emails and the latest thing I got from Dell was received on Friday 10/29/04 for an up to 12% discount promotion for purchases beginning 11/1/04. Please contact me at membership@nachi.org and I will forward the email to you so you may use it specifically to contact them.
