Come on out to Jillians At Arundel Mills Mall in Hanover, MD (Just outside Baltimore) on Wednesday, October 6, 2004 and support the NACHI Foundation.

We will be holding a silent auction on various sports memorabilia items. There will be items ranging from unsigned photos of athletes, to commemorative plaques, to autographed baseball bats, jerseys, helmets, etc. We will have close to 50 items up for grabs. A few examples are a Michael Jordan autographed North Carolina jersey, a Derek Jeter autographed bat, a Eli Manning autographed football, and a Sopranos cast autographed Sopranos baseball jersey (8 signatures). Other non-signed sports items will be available, these are just a few of our premier items available.

The event will feature a guest celebrity host(to be announced shortly), a cash bar in the room, and tables and chairs for relaxing or eating. Jillians is an entertainment experience(please see their website to understand). Food, games, bowling, multiple bars, and pool are just a few of the options for you while out with us. We encourage you to bring the family (under 21 must leave by 10pm). Even if you do not bid, come on out and enter a raffle for an autographed item (to be announced shortly), or just have fun and make a small donation.

We could also use a few volunteers for the event.

The event will run from 6-10 pm. Bidding will open at 6pm and will close promptly at 8:45 pm. Winning bids will be announce at 9 pm. The raffle winner will be announced at 9:45. The public is welcome. If you cannot make it out, but know someone in the area, encourage them to come on out. All proceeds will benefit the NACHI Foundation's Safe House Campaign.

Pre registration for reserved table space will be available in the coming weeks when we kick off our website. Stay tuned for follow up info!

Nick tells me he will be there, and for those of us who don’t think Nick is too easy on the eyes, he is personally going to cover the cost of having a couple Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders and the mascots Edgar, Allen, and Poe to party with. Come on out and join us.

And don't forget, we need som e volunteers to staff it. We are working on some Foundation Volunteer T-shirts ![icon_biggrin.gif](upload://iKNGSw3qcRIEmXySa8gItY6Gczg.gif)
