Encourage clients, especially with new built homes as the cost is only about 1% of home to install fire sprinklers. Give them the following link. It really drives it home.

The Gentex Corporation has donated two smoke alarms for the deaf and hard of hearing to the Foundation for use in our Safe House Campaign. These alarms retail at $150 each. They will not be used to give away, rather to use for planned demonstrations. We do have a discount rate on them at a few dollars over what distributers pay.

Thanks to the Gentex Corp. for their donation!

Maybe parents should be reminded that even if the child does not hear it, they will!

Actually that is a recommendation by the Home Safety Council. Parents should test it wile child is alseep. If they do not wake, plan an escape plan to get them awake.
