PSA: For those that may not have heard, there is going to be a national test on your cell phones today, if you are going to be on an inspection and don’t want to hear the loud, annoying beep you can put your phone on airplane mode.
Time of the test is as follows:
2:20 p.m. EDT
1:20 p.m. CDT
12:20 p.m. MDT
11:20 a.m. PDT
10:20 a.m. ADT
8:20 a.m. HST
Also, there are conspiracy theories about this test going around for those of you who want to keep up with what you are supposed to be complaining about.
We were at the Tulsa State Fair walking thru the Expo building when it went off. I knew it was coming so I was paying attention to all the people grabbing their phones thinking it was a text from friend or family and having really confused looks on their faces.
Me? None. I abhor conspiracy theorists. They always have all these reasons why/how something can happen, but they NEVER have any actual facts that confirm their cases.
The one I noticed while reading the article about the cell phone test was that the test was going to activate nanoparticles of graphene oxide.
I love the “Birds Aren’t Real” one. I have that one in my holster, waiting to discharge, should I ever get into a discussion with a CT. I want to see how long I can string them along , hopefully until they are exasperated, and then say “see, now you know how we feel”.
