New image added to the free Gallery: 200-Amp Panelboard Supplied by 4-Wire SER

This image needs some work as it is depicting a sub-panel not a service. Although the bare conductor is grounded it’s somewhat confusing because the bare conductor is a grounding conductor, more specifically an Equipment Grounding Conductor (EGC). There are no EGC’s before the service disconnect so it should not say that it comes from the transformer and through the meter that would pertain to the service panel or service disconnect. If this is a sub-panel fed with SER after the service disconnect then the 4-wire connections are correct.

The image also labeled the neutral as an ungrounded conductor.

The bare is a grounding conductor. The center conductor is the grounded conductor and should be marked with white.

Just noticed the errors are the same as a month ago. WTH.

Looks like the same graphic from the OP.

What is the purpose of this graphic to show a sub-panel wired with SE cable? If so the graphic is okay with the exception of the identification of the neutral but the wording is incorrect.

The grounded bare conductor doesn’t go to the transformer, only the neutral does. The ground starts at the service disconnect or the meter.
