In order to determine if the proper hurricane clip and nails were used you will have to get the truss uplift data, species and grade from the truss plans. The three nail minimum on a H2.5A strap reduces the uplift capacity to 260lbs. You have to read the charts and notes in the manufacturer’s catalog. That uplift load has to be checked all the way down to the foundation. Some girder trusses can carry a significant amount of uplift load requiring special tie down requirements. IMO this graphic needs a note to have inspector compare truss plans to manufacturers catalog before approving.
