Hello all, new inspector located in New Jersey! Curious to know how long it took some of you to land your first paid inspection job and what were your methods to land you that first job?
I am a new inspector too located in SF Bay Area California. I have the same questions, does any one working in my area can answer? Greatly appreciated.

Hi Caleb, welcome! I have started my own website along with a social media account for the business that I have been sharing with friends and family. Hoping to gain my first few clients from word of mouth. As I begin to gain a little experience I plan on being more aggressive with marketing but curious to see how other people launched their business.

Getting started is tough for most new businesses.
Pump every relative, friend, neighbor and definitely any real estate agent that you may know for referrals.
Try to avoid volunteering that you are new. Offer that you are growing your business.
