Odd holes/markings in insulation paper

Any particular insect/animal that anyone can think of that may have made these holes? This was noted in a small unfinished attic area. Two attic vents were there, one surrounded by a screen, most likely to keep things out.
All assistance is always welcome…
Thanks

One possibility is silverfish.

Another possibility is mice.

Another possibility is paper beetles.

Time to mention it as unknown and further evaluation by a licensed pest control technician.

Looks just like American Cockroaches.
Periplaneta americana

Cockroaches are opportunistic omnivores that will eat almost anything that they come across, including insulation

Could be birdshot.

I’d go with “likely pest damage” then “perhaps silverfish”.
You can leave a jar with a bit of water and some paper in the attic for a few days, and determine quickly if it’s silverfish.

You all are really great! Thank you for the help and speedy responses.
