Hot off the presses, On first blush it would indeed appear that HB 315 has a new detractor, one who not only understands the role of government in regards to small business, but has the power to effect change.

On February 2nd, 2005, President Bush addressed our great nation and in his State Of The Union speech said "To make our economy stronger and more competitive, America must reward, not punish, the efforts and dreams of entrepreneurs. Small business is the path of advancement, especially for women and minorities, so we must free small businesses from needless regulation and protect honest job-creators"

Of course the $64,000 question is, will Jeb take notice and heed his brother's advice and truly free small businesses from needless regulation in regards to Florida's HI licensing bill? I suggest we ask him ourself and remind him of what his older and wiser brother knows to be truth.

'The time has come,' the Walrus said,
'To talk of many things:
Of shoes -- and ships -- and sealing wax --
Of cabbages -- and kings --
And why the sea is boiling hot --
And whether pigs have wings.'
